Lesante Classic - a Luxury Hotel & Resort Enhances Guest Experience with Reliable Network Upgrade

Background

Lesante Classic is a five-star hotel in Zakynthos, Greece. It offers 119 rooms and an outdoor pool. The hotel completed a full renovation in late 2024. During this upgrade, they installed the Ruijie Reyee e-Lighten solution. This new system provides stable, high-speed Wi-Fi across all guest rooms, the lobby, two restaurants, and the pool area. Guests now enjoy exceptional connectivity throughout their stay.

The Challenge

The hotel needed better Wi-Fi coverage with specific goals:

Guest Room: Provide full Wi-Fi signal and gigabit bandwidth in every guest room.

Public Area: Enable seamless roaming in public areas including the lobby, restaurants, and pool.

Management:  Simplified cabling and network topology reduce faults and enable quick identification of link failures through robust management.

The Solution

Lesante Classic implemented the Ruijie Reyee e-Lighten solution, which included:

Replacing outdated cables with high-speed fiber optics for long-term use.

Introducing Fiber-to-the-Room (FTTR) to each guest room.

Deploying AP models such as RG-APF1250, RG-RAP2260(G), and RG-RAP6262(G) in different areas to support high user density and improve coverage.

Significantly improved Wi-Fi experience: Faster speeds and more stable connections.

Hybrid Network Architecture with Easy O&M: Powerful optical OLT and ONU as backbone with ethernet AP in public area, providing multi-service over a hybrid network. 

One Room One Fiber: Superior network, IPTV, and telephone experience with one optical fiber, receiving good customer compliment.
