During a recent product quality inspection, Ruijie (hereinafter referred to as "us", "we", or "our") identified mistakes on the packaging of our switch models RG-ES105GD and RG-ES108GD. This issue is limited to the printed descriptions on the outer packaging and does not affect the actual device performance, configuration, quality, or security. We take this matter very seriously and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We initiated a comprehensive rectification process promptly. The details of the issue and our rectification measures are outlined below:

I. Incorrect Packaging Description and Involved Products

2. Involved products: RG-ES105GD and RG-ES108GD switches, which were sold from September 2024 to June 2025.

3. Discovery time and rectification commencement time: We discovered the issue on July 22, 2025, and promptly launched a comprehensive rectification process.

II. Rectification Measures and Solution

1. Suspension of Sales and Product Isolation

On July 22, 2025, we ceased all sales of the products with incorrect packaging and physically isolated the inventory to prohibit any further distribution.

2. Packaging Replacements and Compliance Review

We have started the packaging replacement process for the inventory products. The incorrect description has been removed from the new packaging, and sales will be resumed after the packaging of all relevant products is replaced.

3. Internal Process Optimization

The R&D and legal departments review the packaging information according to local sales requirements, and a re-assessment by a third party is added prior to product launch.

4. To Protect Customers' Rights and Interests, We Provide the Following Solution:

Within 30 days from the date of this announcement, customers can bring the original products (including packaging and devices) along with proof of purchase (invoices or order screenshots) to the original distributors to exchange their products with new ones of the same models with the correct packaging free of charge, and all shipping and other expenses incurred will be borne by us.

III. Notice to Distributors

Please coordinate with the following:

  • Immediately isolate the RG-ES105GD and RG-ES108GD switches in inventory that fall within the relevant time period and do not continue sales of the relevant products.
  • Clearly explain the packaging mistakes to affected customers, and provide new products of the same models with correct packaging for them. The incurred expenses will be fully borne by us. The specific process will be clearly explained in a formal email from us to distributors.
  • If customers have any questions, promptly guide them to contact our customer service hotline for support.
